January Meetup Notes
A little late, but here’s a summary of what was discussed at out last meetup. We discussed several sources for online training. Sites we covered included FXPHD, Lynda, Ayato, Mattrunks, Greyscale Gorilla, and Video Copilot. Redesign for 2012
So we’ve updated the site to focus more on the upcoming events. This should make it easier for you to glance at the main page and see when we’re meeting next, as well as future events. We may also include other non-Mograph Milwaukee events in the calendar, but clearly label them. September Meetup Date Changed
Just a quick announcement that the date for the September meetup at C2 has changed. It will now be held on September 22nd at 6:30pm, same location. The reason for the change is so it will not conflict with the annual Adworkers Milwaukee 99 show this year.
January Meetup Notes
We had a good meetup tonight with mostly familiar faces and a couple new ones at C2. Several people have requested some form of summary from our meetups. So in 2011, we’re making this a priority. After each meetup, we’ll be posting notes, links, videos, and sometimes project files. In the future, we will see if we can get screencaptures & audio/video of the presentations as well. BG Renderer Hits Version 2
Some breaking news from this morning: BG Renderer has officially hit version 2! December Meetup – Tron: Legacy
UPDATE 12/17/2010 10:15am – We will be meeting right at the iPic bar around 7:00pm tonight. UPDATE 12/10/2010 5:10pm – General consensus seems to be iPic. As of right now, there are still 53 seats available (out of 73) for the 9:15pm screening, so I’m sure we won’t have a problem.
